One sample t-test

The single sample t method tests a null hypothesis that the population mean is equal to a specified value. Student's t-test assumes that data follow a normal probability distribution. If normality tests reject normality nonparametric alternatives Wilcoxon Signed Rank test and sign test should be used. They test the median instead of the mean.
